Child Care Connection Home-Based Program
Each family enrolled in Child Care Connection is assigned a Case Manager. This Case Manager provides a minimum of a monthly home visit. At this visit the Case Manager works with both parents and the children on attachment, literacy, health, development, and many other areas. The goal of the home visit is to provide a safe and developmentally appropriate environment for the parent and child to interact together and establish attachment.
Each month the Case Managers along with parents plan a Socialization. At this event the focus is on the family. The entire family is invited regardless of age. There are activities planned to promote family togetherness and group awareness. The Socializations will help you to get to know families that are more like you, teach you about our community, and allow you to have fun with your children with out added stress.
Parent Committees are made up of all the parents in our program. The parent committee meets once a month to discuss needs in the program, socialization planning, and other Head Start programs and services. Every parent in the program is automatically on the parent committee. It is a great way to get involved.
