WANTED: Bear River Preschool Head Start On-Call Substitute Teacher
- Part time (On-Call), variable hrs, 9.5 mo/yr, $14.55/hr.
- A BS/BA in Early Childhood Education is preferred. Must have AA in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
- Spanish speaking preferred.
- Must have experience teaching preschool aged children.
- Ability to be flexible and work well in a variety of areas.

KEY FUNCTION:
Under the general supervision of the PHS/EHS Center Based Coordinator, direct supervision may be assigned according to program needs. The Substitute will be trained in the position of Teacher, Teacher Assistant, Secretary, Media Specialist and Food Manager in order to fill in where needed, providing services to children and families.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Short or long term substitute in the above mentioned areas when Head Start staff need to take a leave of absence.
- Fill in where needed to ensure continual quality program operations.
- Help with screenings as needed and ensure disability requirements are met.
- Other duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS;
- A BS/BA in Early Childhood Education is preferred. Must have AA in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
- Experience working with young children.
- Ability to work with young children and with families.
- Ability to be flexible and work well in a variety of areas.
